the bloom event & the emily font

The bloom event took place this past weekend and it was a great success.

marisa & emily

Not only did we raise money for the Butterworth family {that is Marisa on the left} to adopt their baby girl from Ethiopia, but we spent a beautiful Seattle morning chatting, eating tasty treats and creating a few different simple flowers.

Marisa did the most amazing and thorough job planning this event – with every detail covered – and that made it so easy to relax and enjoy ourselves.

I wish Tennessee wasn’t so far away from Seattle. Not only does it look like a good time, but what an encouragement to that mom adopting.

And I MIGHT brag on you all the time to my friends that blog and tell them they HAVE to look at your blog because it’s AMAZING? Because you are. And I’m so happy ladies across this nation get to see it too :) You’re doing great!!!

What a wonderfully fun way to support such an awesome cause. What a blessing you are to your friend & so many others. I just LOVE all your blooms. I like that they are very user friendly & that they look great by themselves, or with your other stuff. Some of my favorite combinations are the button flowers in a frame with the monogrammed art underneath, a large gathered flower with a small rolled flower as its center, and the cute little circle with tulle that’s in your shoe shirt tutorial as a hair clip. So fun & a great way to use my girly-ness since I have four beautiful BOYS!!
    Thanks again:)
