a little self-induced pressure
Anyone else out there who starts projects and then gets distracted by life and never finishes? It is the story of my life. And, more specifically, my office. 80% is complete {maybe even more} but it’s that last little bit that I struggle to finish.
So, I’m putting some pressure on myself by telling you all that
THERE WILL BE AN OFFICE REVEAL
on Monday morning.
Which means I better get off this computer and finish up the painting.
Enjoy your weekend!

I see that twirl and bible verse card and am intrigued as to how they inspire the office. more please…
(visual symbols like this inspire me as well so i’d love to know how design and faith merge for you.)

Susie,
what a cool question! The word ‘twirl’ and this verse have special meaning to me and I will think of how to express them and share with you!

totally know what you mean. my twin 2yr old girls have lived in a state of “almost done but not at all presentable” up until this month when i finally put a deadline on finishing their room!
btw, love your site! thanks for posting!

Yea…I so hear you on this one! Except I dont respond well to self induced pressure! lol I have 3 hutches in the garage to refinish, plus a table and some side tables. With 5 children in the house (4 that walk…plus my husband). The baby just laughes and is usually attached to me 90% of the time. But everytime I turn around there is something to be put away or reorganized. So I rarely am able to get projects completed on time. Im lucky if I get everyone dressed and out of the house in an orderly fashion. Cant wait to see your office. – Melanie

haha Totally can relate!
BUT I am sure that pressure works for you.
Can’t wait to see your new space!

Monday morning is almost over — in the central time zone, anyway… I’m excited to see your finished office and if your self-induced pressure worked!
