If only I could convince my husband to love them as much as I do…

On a side note, thank you to all of you who have already signed up for the

  be inspired workshop cut

I have received so many sweet emails from you. It has been fun to hear your hearts and dreams about starting your own creative business {as well as your questions and concerns} and I’m getting very excited about this upcoming event!

Every single email made me realize more and more that we’re all in the same boat: we want to live creative, passionate lives doing what we love to do {and making some money while we’re at it}.  Let me share a couple of comments that I think you may identify with:

I’m quite excited to learn all about this little workshop…I have also always had a secret dream to stay home and do something creative that I love like you are so lucky to do. I’m already signed up for the “early bird,” so thanks in advance because I know its going to be great! – Lauren

I feel like I have a story kinda similar to yours – I’m about to have my second baby (only 8 more weeks – YIPPEE!!) – and we’ve decided that I’m going to stay at home with the kiddos – however I’m creative – and would love to still be able to "contribute" to the family budget – even if it’s not a lot!  :)   I make things for family and friends now – but i’d really love to grow what I do into more of an actual "business".  I guess more than anything I just want to know how you got started – how you managed to find time to spend with the Lord, your little ones, your husband – and still found time to create and grow a business.  Did you have a schedule that really worked for you??  And how did you get your name/business out there???

I’d also love to know if you have any suggestions on how to keep your costs down… I love to create things – however by the time I make all the little runs to [the craft store] and the time I put into my project I feel like I’m not making very much money – half the time my husband jokes that I’m basically just giving my work away – any tricks on how to actually MAKE a profit would be great too.

Thank you so much for doing this workshop – I’m REALLY looking forward to it!!!! :) – Katie

This is perfect timing for this workshop b/c I’m in the process of creating a business right now.  One of my biggest questions is about building a website.  My creativity comes to a complete stop when I have to speak javascript!!!  Can you give any insight or recommendations for building a website that won’t take every penny of your very small, business loan? – Jane

So, Lauren, Katie & Jane and the rest of you darling ladies I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much we’ll cover in the workshop and how practical the information & tools will be.  Oooh, I can’t wait!

Details are still forthcoming {what a fancy word}, but if you’d like to be on the early bird email list, please sign up below.
