what i wore
As promised last week, you’ll be seeing a little more leg this week. The weather has been amazing around here which means skirts, tanks, and sunburns.
SOURCES:
1. shirt: banana republic, skirt: old navy, shoes: target
2. shirt: old navy, jeans: citizens. Just for the record, I don’t find this outfit the least bit appealing. One time in college I came out of our apartment wearing an outfit that I thought was cute and my best friend told me I looked a little like I was in 8th grade. That is how I feel about this one. I think I’ll resort to wearing this shirt only for pj’s.
3. skirt: old navy from about 6 years ago, shirt: target, sweater: banana republic, shoes: target
4. shirt: walmart {love this ruffle shirt and wish I bought several}, jeans: banana, shoes: target
And LOOK! I got a pedicure!
5. shirt: gap, shorts: banana republic, shoes: payless
6. shirt: nordstrom, jeans: seven dojo
7. shirt: target, sweater: martin + osa, jeans: seven A pocket, shoes: payless

I came across your site from a friend of mine on Facebook. I think I’ve become addicted to browsing everything! You are so beautiful & talented, gifted from the Lord. What a blessing to be able to share in your precious creations. They are so inspiring & everything you create has great character. I don’t know how to make things like this but maybe someday I will. Thank you for sharing your amazing gifts. It is essential to share our talents & not keep them for ourselves only. May the Lord continue to multiply your blessings so you can continue to bless others <3

I love the white shirts in pic #4 and #7! I am always on the lookout for cute white shirts. I have the old navy skirt in blue and I wear it ALL the time. I really like the long necklace in your last shot. Do you know where it is from?
Thanks for sharing all of your outfits! I think it’s fun to see what other people wear.

Those flip-flops have been my summer staple! I wear them when I just can’t wear my sloppy rainbows (wah) but be fore-warned accidentally stepped into them with slightly wet feet and the lining started peeling off. I guess that’s what you get with $14.00 shoes!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gray flower tank. I just bought a short-sleeve v-neck shirt about the same color from old navy with 2 flowers on it, but your tank is stunning!!!!

Cute! I have the #1 skirt from Old Navy and love it–so comfy and cute. Great #6 shirt and #4 jeans. Great style

#4 & #7 are so supper cute. I want those outfits
. I also have 4 kiddos and my baby just turned 1. You look amazing though. I still have about 5 or so to go but it feels like its taking so much longer to come off this time around. Cute outfits!
Rebecca
Hi there, can you post where you got your adorably sweet initial necklace? I’ve seen them at various places online, but your discs seem smaller than the other ones I’ve seen and I really like that look. Too cute!

tammy

Thanks for the kind compliments. I would not say that my closet is very inspiring, so it is nice to hear that I at least look decent!
In answer to a couple of questions:
1. That long necklace in #7 is from Target a few years ago.
2. The tank from walmart is from last year.
3. My little charm necklace is petite and I love it. I blogged about it here {http://jonesdesigncompany.com/thoughts/affirmation-and-a-necklace}
4. I would be happy to share how I style my hair. Maybe I’ll do a little tutorial on it {ha!}. I use a wide curling iron and I really think a photo would explain how I do it better than words so I’m not kidding about a tutorial.
5. In the photo that I said “hi kc” I’m really on the phone with my bf kc.
6. Are these posts too weird, or should I keep them going?
cailan
No, please do keep them going. It’s very fun AND inspiring as I aspire to make the effort to look nice – though it may be only my husband and three little ones who see me all day.

I think you have great style and I enjoy seeing how you put things together. We dress a lot alike! Love outfit 7!

Hi, I am new to your blog. Coming over from 320 Sycamore. Love this post! After 2 kids I feel like I have very little time to focus on me. I don’t know how you do it with 4! You look great. Looking forward to keeping up with your blog.
