I love lilacs – they are my most favorite flower. The smell is so intoxicating! My next home will most defnitely have lilacs included in the landscaping.

Yes! I love lilacs. For me, in addition to their fantastic smell, there’s a strong sense of nostalgia as my grandma used to have a huge lilac tree in her yard, which I loved. So, for me, lilacs mean grandma, which is wonderful.

SOOO in love with lilacs! My grandmother too had several trees including white(heavenly scent). My mother actually transplanted one when my gram sold her house & it still thrives. My dear florist hunted down lilacs for my wedding as their season was finished here in New England….the church arrangements and pews were adorned with lilacs which meant so much since my Grandmother had passed before my wedding, and we were married in the church she’d attended when she first came to the U.S.
Bummed that my only lilac trees were wiped out with the ice storm here in Mass. a few years back! Time to plant one! LOVE the images of lilacs…made me smile

Beautiful! Just FYI (in case you’d like to plant a lilac bush at your house) there is one that blooms multiple times a year! It’s called a “bloomerang” – just gifted one to my sweet mom who loves lilacs!
