these april showers are never-ending
For those of us who live in the Pacific Northwest, the phrase ‘April Showers Bring May Flowers’ holds quite a bit of truth. Because, truth be told, it rains a lot in April.
As in every . single . day.
But without all of this sideways rain, we wouldn’t enjoy all that it does for us … the greenest green grass, flowering trees and shrubs, tulips and daffodils that pop up everywhere and enough water to keep our lakes and rivers full and clean.
April rain holds a promise of beauty to come … at least that is what I am telling myself to make it through these soggy days!

we have lots of rain…and snow here in Canada! we wanted to have my little Carmela’s first birthday party outside this weekend…but they are calling for rain here. but it is supposed to warm up. i want spring to come soon. i want warm breezes and sunshine!
