these april showers are never-ending

For those of us who live in the Pacific Northwest, the phrase ‘April Showers Bring May Flowers’ holds quite a bit of truth. Because, truth be told, it rains a lot in April.

As inĀ  every . single . day.

But without all of this sideways rain, we wouldn’t enjoy all that it does for us : the greenest green grass, flowering trees and shrubs, tulips and daffodils that pop up everywhere and enough water to keep our lakes and rivers full and clean.

April rain holds a promise of beauty to come : at least that is what I am telling myself to make it through these soggy days!

In honor of the crazy spring weather, I’ve created a new art print

Love the new print! Yes, we’ve been getting lots of rain as well – I took the opportunity to get some new, cute rainboots :)

I was wondering where you get your shapes and backgrounds for your prints – trying to plan a baby shower on budget and would love to try to make the invites, but don’t know where to find cute shapes / backgrounds… HELP!

That’s a lovely print! Unfortunately here in my part of Canada, it’s more like May showers bring June flowers ;-) Although I do have a violet already!

Beautiful! I was just looking out and admiring how the gray skies enhance the yellow daffodils and the bright green grass. It’s funny, I was just thinking of painting my living room gray with bright yellow and green accents.
