I like: menswear inspired pajamas {and sleeping, too}

    Did you make it through the time change? Springing-forward is brutal since it means we miss out on a blessed hour of sleep. And, believe me, I do love to sleep.  Especially after a whirlwind weekend traveling across the country, staying up late laughing with some of my best friends, shopping, running, biking, eating, paddle boarding and then traveling back across the country.

    I’m a little bit tired.

    Which got me thinking: I need some new pj’s. Cute, matching, grown-up ones.

    Here’s a roundup of a few of my faves:

    5. J.Crew Vintage Pajama Set $95

    1. My Hubby calls these sorts of PJ’s “Bogart’s” because in every Humphrey Bogart movie there’s a ocean where he’s wearing cool matching pejamas! His bedtime wardrobe has been transformed and this post makes me want to put a little bit of money into having my very own “Bogart’s”!

    2. While I’m sitting here, in my pj’s, reading about pj’s I can’t help but think that I could stand to be a little more fashionable in my sleepwear :)

    3. so cute :) I’m almost 5’10” and have a thing against “too short” pants, even if they’re just jammies. I like to order them from Victoria’s Secret because I can order my normal size in long instead of having to buy a bigger size just to cover my ankles and hope they don’t fall off. I also like to get them at V.S. because they’re almost always on sale with a 2-for deal or free matching slippers and they send catalogs with coupon codes (practically daily)

    4. Jcrew pj’s are by far my fav! They are a little pricey so I always wait till they go on sale and stock up. If you are ordering them online, keep in mind they run really big. The XS is big on me and the XXS fits well (I usually just wear a S).

      One more FYI: I bought a pj set from Target before Christmas and hated the fit. It was very frumpy.

    5. Ohmygoodness, 100 bucks for PAJAMAS?!? Now that’s dreaming! I love how you said, “grown-up” pajamas :) Because every time I do laundry, I tell myself to buy some grown up, GIRLY pjs…no more wearing old, high school shirts, or Hubby’s old shirts.

    6. I have fallen in love (and sleep) with Wera Wang pj’s. They are on the higher end but I watch out for them to go on sale and they always do. They are super comfortable, yummy fabrics and really feminine and pretty prints. You should definitely try them. They are at Belks and Kohls. Must try!!!

      1. ooh I do agree that the Simply Vera Wang jams are fantastic. They are SOOOOO soft. Not really “menswear” style, but they are super comfy, light weight, and adorable!

    7. I love the LOOK of all of these pajamas but when it boils down to it I’m a texture person so they have to FEEL good too. That’s why i usually end up in my holey yoga pants that I’ve never actually done yoga in and my husbands old t shirts to mosey around the house. I’ll be on the look out for the pajama trifecta: looks, comfort and price ;)
