yellow shoes {and a discount to joyfolie}

After eying the gorgeous new women’s shoes at Joyfolie for the past few months, I finally decided to add a pair to my wardrobe.

They are beautiful. They add a pop of color and feminine detail to any outfit, and they are comfortable, too. Most of all, they make me feel fancy and stylish, even when I’m not.

Since my Audrey-girl and I match unintentionally most days anyway, I decided to just go with it and she now has a pair of matching yellow maryjanes. I am unashamed of the dorky-ness that is mommy-and-me dressing. With shoes this beautiful, you just have to embrace it.

Have you ever visited Joyfolie? Not only are the shoes and accessories the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen, but the styling and photography is as good as it gets. I love just looking around at all the pretty images.

You can take a look around here.

Be sure to use the discount code for 30% off {ends July 6th}

    HI! I was just wondering how these shoes fit. Are they true to size in length? A normal width? Comfortable shoe? I wanted to order some and they are final sale, so I want to make sure about the size first. : ) Any help would be most appreciated!
    I’m ordering for myself and my 2 girls. ” )

    Hi Emily, just wondering what kind of jeans you are wearing with the yellow shoes. I am always looking for a pair of jeans with a leg like that for work (I am a teacher). Thanks! I love your blog, I just made the burlap woven board for my sons room and it turned out great.

    WOW! I love your blog, but I fell in love with the shoes and I was able to feel less guilty about splurging on them because of the discount! Thank you!

    I adore mommy and me dressing! Embrace it I say- it’s a very short season of life where you can get away with it. The other day I unintentionally wore a chambray dress and put my daughter in her little chambray dress as well- when we walked into a restaurant there were murmurs of “oh how cute, they match”!

    Cute! I think matching is fun =) Question for you – what is the ground cover plant that you have between your pavers? I love the little white flowers!

      It is called blue star creeper. It goes crazy and looks great between the stones.

    I absolutely love Joy Folie!! I have drooled over her shoes (especially the little ones) for quite a while. Best color/texture combos, styling, embellishments EVER! So wish I could afford them. They are simply to die for. :)

    Ooooohhhhh that is one of THE most gorgeous photos, shoes, matching Mums n Daughters I’ve seen. How I wish my girls were still wee, these days I could destroy an entire teenage trend, if I dared copy them lol. xo

    Fabulous shoes!!! I will have to check out that site…
    Enjoy matching with your daughter while it lasts…mine is too opinionated about how she dresses now!

    My daughter and I end up matching or at least coordinating almost daily. It kind of hurts my OCD eyes if we clash so coordinating makes it easier for my craziness ha ha.

    Yellow shoes! Snazzy! And I thought red shoes were the berries. Ha!
    Now for a totally different subject. What are those lovely flowers that set the stage for the cutest ever yellow shoes????

    Wishing you An Extraordinary Independence Day!

      The little flowers are called blue star creeper – an inexpensive and fast growing ground cover.

    Love it! So beautiful. I may just have to splurge. And I love matching with my lil mini-me, too! She’s only a few months younger than your Audrey, so it’s been fun “watching” them grow up together and experience similar things. Thanks for sharing.
