My name is Emily and I’m the blogger + designer behind Jones Design Company. I’m so pleased you’re here.
On the blog, you’ll find lots of inspiration for decorating your home, creating simple and inexpensive projects, favorite finds for fashion and home decor and thoughts on family, faith and life.
Jones Design Company began in 2002 as a custom stationery business and transitioned into a blog in 2009. While custom stationery is no longer my thing, blogging has been a natural extension of my love of pretty things, good design, accessible projects and real-life living. Over these past several years of blogging and growing the business, I have uncovered a deep desire to encourage and inspire women to be creative in their everyday lives. Creativity comes out differently in all of us – for you it might look like picking up a watercolor brush for the first time in years, practicing new handwriting styles, moving furniture around to make a room more welcoming, or trying new ways to style clothes already in your closet. Allowing yourself the time to explore and discover your passions brings joy and life and beauty. I can think of nothing more wonderful than that!
So on the blog, you’ll get a little bit of everything – home decorating, crafting, organizing, beauty + fashion and an occasional journal-y post – all in the hopes that you’ll leave feeling encouraged and inspired to be creative in your everyday.
