christmas {tutorial} collection

In honor of the upcoming holiday season, I’ve created a collection of projects I’ll call the

    christmas {tutorial} collection

We {Nonna & I} have had such fun creating these projects, decorating the trees and getting into holiday mode {even if our tree is up a month earlier than normal!}.

The entire collection is in download form with instructions for wreaths, garlands and ornaments perfect for decorating your home, your tree or giving as gifts.  Also included in your download are images and inspiration for three uniquely decorated trees that will encourage you to think creatively when decorating your home this holiday season.  The projects use inexpensive materials {things found at the thrift or craft store} are simple to create and are great ideas for crafting with a group of friends or alone while watching your favorite Christmas movie.

You can download the entire collection of projects in THE ARCHIVE along with all of our best free prints, templates and fonts.  If you are not an Archive member, simply add your email to the list and you’re in!

    1. purchased mine a week or so ago…and I sent you a message to see where you can purchase the glass drops to make the glass drop ornaments….I can’t find them anywhere…If anyone else is reading this message and knows where to get them (online, etc…I’m on the east coast (NC) ) PLEASE let me know:O)

      1. You can usually find the glass drops in the section by those bags of glass pebbles, fake rocks, or marbles. (Some people use them as decor for their fish bowls.) Most craft stores (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc. ) should have them, but Walmart or Target may even have them.

    2. everything looks beautiful! I think this is a great idea….and can’t wait to see more! How would you style some of these elements for Thanksgiving? my pumpkins are on their last leg!! :-)

    3. I found the black and white checked ribbon at Joanns Fabrics in the markdown bin last year after Christmas. During the year I find these things then save them until just the right project comes along.

    4. What a great job you did on this! Lot’s of inspiration!
One question…where did you get your black and white check ribbon? I’ve been looking at the usual places like Michaels etc…but no luck.
And thanks for having patience with me on the log in!

    5. As I was reading about ALL of the tutorials you were offering at once, I was thinking “if she’s not charging for all of this, she’s crazy!” Buying mine now :)

    6. Can’t wait to start on the tutorials . . . Thank you so much. My friend and I spend yesterday afternoon making flower pins, clips, etc. It was so fun. We decided to have regular “Jones Design Co” crafting dates. Thanks!!!

    7. I don’t see anything wrong for charging a fee. It’s very reasonable and why not make a profit for all your work and time!

    8. Dear Emily,
I’m buying your tutorials right now…I’m glad you can make a little money with your talent. The other day you asked me to show you how I made my book Christmas ornament and I didn’t respond because my computer crashed and I have not had a computer for 2 two weeks where the pictures were. I haven’t done a blog about it but I want to send you the pictures. I still can’t recover those pictures but I realized I have them on my shutterfly account so I’m sending them to you:) My twin sister was so sweet and gave me an extra mac lap top she had around the house (two incomes no kids heheheheh…she is due with her first boy this week) so now I have a lap top:) So the email is coming shortly then driving my son to preschool then working on your Christmas tutorial during nap time:)

      God Bless, Julie Brazelton

    9. I think its fine to charge for a whole collection. It takes time and energy to run a blog plus a family! Your great and I can wait to use my tutorials for a ladies night!

    10. thanks!! i am soo excited!! i just purchased one. i hope to make my holiday decorations early this year. thanks again!! are you going to be selling any more items in your shop for the holidays?? i hope soo!!

    11. thanks emily! i just purchased a copy and already looked through them! cant wait to get started! and yes! thanks for doing this early! early enough so we can make and enjoy!

    12. i think this is a great idea, while looking at your lineup, i thought, oh I wonder how long until she posts the paper ornaments. sometimes the tutorials come too close to christmas and i am too tired to try them. so thank you for offering them earlier! once again, you have outdone yourself! xo
