When I first painted the summer essentials artwork, I was just doodling with my kids. Who knew this would turn into a seasonal series of artwork?! If you loved the summer essentials print and adored the autumn essentials print, I think you’ll be pleased with this charming new winter essentials painting.
Included are some of my favorite wintery things {wool coat, paperwhites, peppermint candies, extra hot lattes} and a few classics {mittens, black heels, lip balm}.
I scanned the original painting, added titles and turned it into a printable pdf for your enjoyment. It’s a fun piece to put out for the winter {maybe on your entry table? Or on your mantle? Mine is in the kitchen} or to wrap up and give a friend this holiday season.
You can download the print below, then print on your favorite paper. Try matte photo paper to get the best image quality, or watercolor paper for an authentic watercolor look.

I cannot believe you included a picture of the Burt’s Bees lip balm tin in your Winter Essentials drawing! That is my absolute favorite lip balm! My daughter and I cannot live without it!!!
Hi there, I am going on a cruise and would love to be able to download your Iphone 5 summer covers but it’s not opening. I merely get a black screen, my computer is brand new with Adobe on it so I’m not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?
You may need to try opening with a different web browser (try firefox). And make sure you open the file using adobe reader to make sure all of the graphics are displayed correctly.
Oh my goodness this is too perfect! You always pick the best combinations. Thank you so much!
You know, I’m really thankful for you (yes, I know it isn’t Thanksgiving anymore, ha!) but I’ve found so many of the blogs I’ve read for a long time now have gone to advertising products on their blog almost all of the time. You continue to be so very generous with your skill and talent and I just want to let you know how much I appreciate it. Your art is beautiful and I’m always quick to tell people where my *season* essential art comes from.
So, thanks! and Merry Christmas!!
Thanks for sharing your printable. I really love it!
Oh, I just came over to check if you just so happened to have a winter essentials artwork download especially! I have loved having the other two up and was so hoping you would do another. Thanks!!
Soooo awesome! Thanks so much! I have the other two on my gallery wall and can’t wait to add this!!
Love the printable – can’t wait to display it. Thank you so much!
Beautiful, as always.
Helllo! Love this and very inspirational! Where is that cute polka dot kraft paper for? Love your ideas and decor! Merry Christmas!
I printed the free printable, bought a frame and put it by my coffee bar before seeing yours. I love it and my daughter noticed it right away. Want to print the others as well to change out each season. Thanks for sharing you thoughts, dreams and ideas. Gives hope to others who have grown tired but not given up.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent! So lovely!
I found your blog a few days ago and I really enjoy it! This prints are too adorable and beautiful! You a re super talented! Can’t wait to print them and decorate my house with them, and will be looking forward to spring’s print when the time comes (my favorite season).
Thanks for making them available!! :)
Thank you, Emily! When I started taking down the Autumn decorations, I looked for a Winter Essentials print in my downloads, but then realized that you hadn’t done one–yet! I’m so excited! I print these on vellum (still left over from my wedding programs 12 years ago!), place colored cardstock behind and stick them in the artwork frame my mom gave me for Christmas last year (for displaying my kids’ art….). I love them. Thank you!!!!!
Thank you so much for the fun printable! I can’t wait to get it printed out and in a cute frame :)
Love it Emily. I was secretly hoping you would create one. I love your Autumn one and received so many compliments on it.
The art is adorable. I love the autumn one and winter ones. But, I have to know where you got the deer mugs? They’re adorable.
Thank you so much Emily. I love these prints.
Thank you so much for the wonderful Winter Essentials Art piece!! I have loved the Summer & Fall ones you created and so excited to put this one up in my office.
Where can I find the wool coat Emily?
Isn’t it cute! It’s an old one from Anthropologie. Wish I would have purchased while it was available.
I thought it might be Anthropologie. I even checked their site. ;) It really is/was your style.
I have same question as Amy K and Heather…Where did you get the adorable coffee mugs with the stripes and the deer on them?
I checked IKEA and no luck =(
Hey Ladies, I wanted to find the same mugs after seeing these pics. I found them on IKEA’s website. Haven’t checked local store yet. ;) (Assuming these, like the deer mugs, are the same)
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60250741/
Mugs are from IKEA. The striped ones come with a set of dots as well.
Nevermind! The third time I tried it, it worked! Thanks again! Love!
HI there! Love the printable! However, I can’t get the link to work. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!!
I just love these prints…Thank you for making them a free printable. It sure is a fun addition to my holiday decor!
I have the same question as Amy… the mugs! Where? Love! Thanks for the printable too. Super darling.
I believe they’re from ikea…
I stare at the Autumn Essentials at work everyday. It’s on my magnetic board across from my desk. I’ve been waiting on the Winter one, but I can’t relate very much to your essentials since I’m in south Louisiana. No snow, skis, or Starbucks for this gal. (I’m a loyal fan to our local CC’s coffee houses.) But I’m printing it anyway! I love your artwork. Thank you so much for your Archive!!
Love the print! Where did you get the adorable coffee mugs with the stripes and the deer on them?
Too cute, Emily! Can’t believe you drew all that…you are amazingly talented!
I love these and post on my wall at work.
Thank you Emily, this is beautiful. Frauke.
