Instagram is just so great. Little snippets of life and inspiration in photo form in perfectly digestible amounts. It’s for sure my go-to social media platform and even though I know there is not long-term value in looking at instagram photos (on my last days I will certainly not wish I had spent more time checking my ig feed), I do feel beautifully inspired by what I find there.
Of course I follow my husband and family and friends, but I also follow a handful of very talented ladies who share glimpses of their everyday with us. I love their instagram posts for those behind-the-scene peeks at real life, for encouragement through word and image, and for ideas for decorating or beauty of fashion or food, but mostly I love following them because of their incredibly photography. What talent there is in the ig community! The angles, the light, the subject – all of it – feels like art. Attainable, everyday art. I love it.
