This is a big week around blogland filled with lovely fall-ified homes. After posting my home tour on Monday (see it here), it has been so fun to pop around each day peeking into the rooms of dozens of bloggers.
I’ve grabbed a few of my favorite images from the tours with links so you can take a look around, too! Be inspired and take a few ideas for ways you can spruce up your home this fall.
Classic tufted wing chair with a plaid wool throw, those ikat drapes, a little greenery and wood rounds for chargers. See the full tour at: City Farmhouse
I can’t help but post two photos from Michael’s bright, light, stylish home. I love how he mixes so many patterns without it feeling overly cluttered. See the full tour at: Inspired By Charm
This entry nook is a clever use of space with the board and batten trim and double layers of hooks. See the full tour at: Home Stories A to Z
Classic blue and white works in any season. See the full tour at: Thistlewood Farms
Adding those pretty wood tones in the cutting boards and spoons is a great way to warm up an all-white kitchen. See the full tour at: Finding Home Farms
Mixed textures and pom-pom trim and a plaid throw on a feminine tufted sofa – yes to all of it. See the full tour at: Dear Lillie
Lucy’s watercolors-turned-pillows are my favorite (I have this one, seen here). See her full house tour at: Crafterberry Bush
What a clever way to plant succulents. See the full tour at: Eclectically Vintage
That basket is so good. See the full tour at: The Lily Pad Cottage
What a pretty curated collection of items displayed on a coffee table. I especially love those feathers. See the full tour at: Rooms For Rent
This one is not in any of the home tours, but did you see this dreamy country space that my girl Emily Henderson did for Target? Everything she touches is my favorite.

So many pretty spaces to enjoy! Do you have a favorite?
I’m such a big fan of yours, from your beautiful decor, art, but most importantly, your love for God. Thank you so much for including our home amongst these beautiful homes. I so appreciated it…xoxo
Thanks Lucy!
I really enjoy your blog and admire your work. I just bought that Gather Pumpkin pillow cover you show above. I ordered the 20 x 20 size, and now i need to order a pillow insert. What size insert do you think I should buy? 22 x 22 or 24 x 24? Last time I did something like this, i bought the same size insert as the cover but the insert was too small. thanks Emily,
Jennifer
Isn’t that one cute?!!
I think I just used the size of the pillow cover, but if you want it extra stuffed, go one size up. 24×24 might be too tight in there.
Yes, i love that pillow. Thanks for introducing it to me. : – )
I think you are right — only one size up on the insert. Thanks again Emily.
Happy Thursday! Jennifer
I love looking at all the lovely homes. But can I just say, I have trouble getting my dishes washed at night. Seeing all of these wonderful spaces makes me want to decorate but I find myself overwhelmed with the lack of time and energy. (Saturdays are already so full of errands and house cleaning and gardening and family events.) I want to do it all but I can’t.
I’ve really appreciated your focus on small spaces in the past…like your entry-way posts. I think you helped a friend with her entry-way. Anyway, that was inspiring and doable for me. I’m happy to say I moved a few things and am now always on the lookout for items that will make the first space people see a happier space. Please keep up the amazing work you do focusing on doable projects for the rest of us!
This is such a great conversation topic. I get it and yet we want our homes to feel pretty and welcoming and a place where friends are invited in and comfortable.
keep in mind that bloggers (like me!) stage our homes for these pictures. It is our job. So don’t get too discouraged if you don’t have a perfectly decorated home with fall accents. We’ve known these features were coming for several weeks and have been prepping for our photos and posts. And when that happens, other things give. So while you see a home with fresh pumpkins and fall pillows, you’re not seeing the undone rooms upstairs or the laundry that hasn’t been folded or the empty fridge because you haven’t been shopping. It’s all a balance and we’re all doing the best we can :)
And I’d love to speak to doing more mini rooms / small details that are doable. That’s what I’m all about. Thank you for commenting!
Such beautiful spaces filled with so much inspiration! Every time I see that Target space I have to pause and take it all in. Amazing!
Thanks so much for sharing my kitchen!
Take care,
Laura
