free printable holiday gift tags

My sister and her sister-in-law have a little holiday motto:

wrapped and done by december one

The amazing part about it is that they actually adhere to it!

    {me, not so much}

Perhaps, like my sister, you have found {or made} the perfect gifts and you are at the wrapping stage.  Or maybe you are more like me and you haven’t even written a gift list yet. Either way, when you do get to the wrapping part, you’ll need some cute gift tags, right?

Because I love a creatively wrapped package, I’ve created a collection of gift tags to adorn presents this Christmas.

And because I think you are the greatest reader-friends ever, I’d like to give the collection to you as an early {mini} Christmas gift.

    3. Thank you so much for the “wrapped and done by December 1” motto! I used it this year too and my family and friends really got into it. It was the first year I’ve ever been so organized and it was so awesome – no wrapping until the wee hours Christmas Eve – no rushing to the post office 4 days before Christmas hoping there’s a way to get packages delivered before Christmas. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

    4. I never got a chance to say thank you for sharing these! I used them for my wedding on New Years Eve for DIY mini champagne favors. I just did a blog post about them and was brought back to your wonderful blog I had tagged months ago for them! Thanks again!

    5. Thank you for sharing. I just printed them off and punched my holes. I am going to use rustic twine and brown parcel paper. Can’t wait to start wrapping !!!

    6. Thank you so much for the gift tags!! I’m ashamed to admit, I’ve been writing the TO and FROM on the gifts with a Sharpee!!!! Now the rest of my gifts will look fabulous!!! Thanks again.

    7. Thank you so much! I just printed up a set and attached jute rope twine to each, wrapped up in a bow, and it’s a little gift for a girlfriend. Question about the wrapping paper (I know you recently did a post about this and I love the scrapbook paper idea!)-but where did you get the brown and white damask paper and the white and black toile papers shown here? I am tired of my cheesy Christmas wrapping paper and am on the hunt for pretty paper this week!

    8. Thanks for sharing! These are just darling!! Have you ever made a font out of your handwriting? Cuz I would LOVE to get a font of your handwriting! Mine is not so very pretty. ;)

    9. I finally purchased my card stock and printed out today – LOVE! Thank you so much for sharing these. IT makes me want to go wrap a bunch of packages just to be able to fasten the ribbon and pretty tag.

    36. Thanks so much, Emily! The tags are beautiful and a good reminder to get started on buying/making gifts!!! Have a blessed Christmas season.

    37. I will be the 101st person but PLEASE do share about your paper. I’m obsessing over that silver glittered one and havent found anything at the big box stores that’s even remotely “pretty!” I love the tags! Thanks so much!

      1. You all are so sweet.

The wrapping paper shown is partially scrapbook paper {on the small boxes}, partially paper-source {glitter & chartreus} and the toile is from a local packaging store called Packaging Specialties – my dream-come-true store. I found a huge roll of silver paper at costco this year. I will try to put together a source page for materials I like {ribbons, papers, tools, supplies} as a resource.

    38. very fabulous indeed! I will be using them to pretty up my packages. your wrapping paper is gorgeous, do you have a favorite source? Sorry if I’m the 100th person to ask this.

    39. Thanks so much for these lovely gift tags! I am obsessed with pretty wrapped christmas packages and I am really excited to put these beauties to use! :)

    44. You are absolutely awesome! Thank you so much for offering this free download! Just yesterday the tags I wanted on etsy were sold out, so I wasn’t yet sure of my backup plan. These tags are oh-so-perfect! Thanks again!

    45. Emily,

Thanks!! That is soo sweet of you!! You have inspired me to wrap beautiful gifts!! I love your paper and ribbon. Where do you buy your paper and ribbon?
