Well, it’s still raining daily up here in the Pacific Northwest and I know elsewhere around the country fresh snow covers the ground, but I’ve seen tiny buds on blossoming cherry trees, heard the first chirp of a bird and have the itch to give our house a big wipe down. This could only mean one thing: Spring is coming.
To get us in the mood for all things floral and bright, new and – ahhh – spring-y, I compiled a few of my favorite spring essentials into a new watercolor painting.
I scanned the original painting, added titles and turned it into a printable pdf for your enjoyment (I’ll show you how I did it on wednesday). It’s a fun piece to put out this spring (maybe on your entry table? Or on your mantle?) or to give a friend who loves springtime and all the beauty it holds.

I have had a horrendously busy last two weeks and didn’t get in on the sale…but will be watching for the next one. However, the main reason I wanted to email you was to simply say, “Thank You” for sharing your God given talent with us. Due to the fact that I have NOT ONE hint of artistic ability, I so admire and appreciate the art of others and your style is just my style! The Spring Essentials print is fresh, fun and like the old expression, is definitely a “breath of fresh air” for my home. I also loved your tip about using watercolor paper. I have seen that at my local craft store, but really didn’t know what I would use it for. I’m also going to download & print a copy for a friend of mine. She will love it! Our printer is not the greatest…colors don’t come out very well, and I would prefer better quality prints. Do you have any recommendations for places to get your printables printed? Whether online or local (we’re in Tacoma)? Thank you!
You can have them printed at any office store – staples, office max, etc.
What is the largest size these can be printed?

It is formatted at an 8×10. I don’t thing the resolution will be very clear if enlarged, but you are welcome to give it a try.
Emily did you make the paper flowers in your photos? They are lovely! Would love a tutorial on those if you haven’t done one already.

I am obsessed with these watercolor paintings!! I went crazy when you first did the summer painting. Then you continued on with autumn (my fav) and winter.
