12 great holiday skirts

We’re mid-holiday party season which means us ladies get to figure out what to wear. Festive, but comfortable, pretty and classic. At least that’s what I prefer when choosing party outfits.

This season, I’m all about skirts. I love the look of a full skirt, sleek black turtleneck, opaque tights and statement necklace.

The best part about this outfit is that a girl can sit, move, dance, and eat without having to constantly adjust and worry about wardrobe malfunctions. So if you’re looking for ideas for what to throw on for a party this season, look no further …

    1. Thank you for the wonderful ideas! I too like these looks and wore something similar last year (gold pencil skirt with black button down and blk opaque tights). I just ordered the merino turtleneck you suggested with the green midrif skirt from Zara! Thank you for sharing; I usually order from your posts because you make it so easy to show everything all pulled together!! I last ordered the white long jctew button down and vest that you shared and it has been a staple!
      Merry Christmas, fondly

    2. I have a LBD shutter style sheath dress. I added diamond like stones to the bodice, and very excited with the results. Love the look you have created, I really like skirts.
I wish I could post the pic of my handiwork :)

    3. I love this look too. you now have inspired me for my husband’s holiday party on Friday. I’m on the hunt for a festive bell skirt. Thank you for these wonderful clothing posts.

    4. My foundation has been black opaque tights and a skirt, too…but since I’m pregnant, I’ve gone with a slimming black skirt and let my blouse make the statement. Why not show off the baby bump with a fun, bold print? :) And inevitably, I end up in my pearl earrings.
