Special necklace for mama

I took my little charm necklace off about a year ago. I’m not really sure why. Maybe I just needed a break.

This necklace has been with me for almost my whole time of being a mom. I ordered the two little charms when my first two boys were tiny and added more with each new baby. I have always loved how petite the charms are, their sweet lowercase typeface and the length of the chain.

When looking through my jewelry drawer for a bracelet last weekend, I found this necklace and decided it was time to put it back on. How I’ve missed wearing it!

I remember when my Audrey girl was just a baby and as I rocked her to sleep, her little hand would reach up and play with the charms.

Mason, our third and most nostalgic of the bunch, noticed when I put the necklace back on. It’s just as meaningful to him as it is to me.

These are the charms I have. They are teensy and you can either have upper or lowercase letters hand stamped. You can add the charms to any chain – mine is super old from Something Silver (a local jewelry store) and I’m pretty sure I’ve had it since high school.
