free hand-drawn halloween clip art

My No.3 and I were doodling yesterday and we got on the topic of Halloween. We had a little fun drawing a few not-too-spooky pictures which turned out so cute I decided to make them into clip art.

The kids love Halloween (what kid doesn’t?!) and I thoroughly enjoy the candy (fyi: four kids acquire a lot of trick-or-treat candy) but the overly scary stuff I can do without. So these doodles are mild and cutesy and would be super great for party invitations, gift tags, scrapbooking or as overlays for the annual kids-in-their-costumes photos.

Need a little help knowing how to use the graphics? No worries … I created this video about how to use clip art in illustrator that will help.

Grab the clip art now with plenty of time to play with it before Halloween.

To download the clip art, log in or sign up for the archive – our library of free printables, fonts, templates and more. It only takes a second and you’ll have instant access to it all!

p.s. I’d love to see how you use these doodles … if you create something with the clipart, please post a photo on Instagram and tag me (@jonesdesigncompany) or email a photograph. Can’t wait to see what you make.

    1. I have done some Halloween children’s stories in the past. My granddaughter takes them to school and reads them to her class. By the end of the day all the class rooms have a copy of my story.
I am looking for a clip drawing of a hand that looks like it is walking on it’s fingers. at one point in the story the witch sends the hand out to look for her spoon that she dropped.
The hand holds up it’s thumbs to catch a ride to where the hand thinks the witch had dropped the spoon.
My goal to finish the story is to have a drawing of the hand walking, holding up it’s thumb and knocking on a door.

I have another project that I’m using my other stories to put in a binder and take/ or send to children’s hospitals for the kids to have some stories they can read or have their parents read to them while they are in the hospital. My hope is to cheer them up and to have parents spend time with their children. to take their minds off the reason they are in the hospital.

    2. Hi Emily. I LOVE these. I may just be doing something wrong, but any chance you can make these so they can be used in the phonto app? Pretty please? Thanks!
